The induction period is a very important time in the career of a teacher and has a long‐term influence on the teacher’s professional development, efficacy, job satisfaction and the length of his/her career. One of the key roles in this period is played by the trainee’s mentor. This paper presents the results of the extensive project ‘Partnership of Faculties and Schools’, carried out at the Pedagogical Faculty, University of Ljubljana, with the financial support of the European Social Fund and the Slovenian Ministry of Education, Science and Sport. We studied an induction project involving 361 teacher trainees and 331 mentors. The study reveals the trainees’ expectations towards their mentors and the mentors’ and trainees’ evaluations of how the mentor aids a teacher trainee in developing their competences.  相似文献   

论CBA篮球运动员的职业道德特点与发展对策

文章运用文献研究和逻辑分析的方法,对我国现阶段CBA运动员职业道德现状进行了审视,总结出现阶段CBA运动员职业道德具有运动员人生观和价值观多样化、运动员竞技体育精神缺乏、运动员职业道德失范形式多样化等几个特点。在此基础上,进一步提出发展CBA篮球运动员职业道德建设的几种途径：（1）完善各项CBA联赛规章制度;（2）加强CBA运动员职业道德教育;（3）建立CBA职业联赛职业道德监督机构;（4）营造良好的职业篮球舆论环境;（5）加强CBA运动员的文化教育,以期能够对我国职业篮球的总体发展提供一个理论上的借鉴。  相似文献

本文采用实证分析方法探讨了高职院校学生在专业选择中存在的性别差异现状,分析了其影响因素。研究发现：高职教育需求的纵向性别差异已不大,但专业选择中的性别横向隔离现象比较严重。家庭经济水平,父母受教育程度,学校制度等因素对高职学生专业选择的性别差异具有重要影响。针对这种情况,在女性主义理论的基础上,从政府,家庭,学校和女性个人四个方面提出相关建议,以促进性别教育均衡发展。  相似文献

高职层面的新闻宣传人才培养需要面对当下数字媒体兴起的状况和基层企事业单位对人才"一专多能"的实际需求,教学内容要与职业需求相对接,整个培养过程应坚持以实践操作为主体、动手能力为核心;职业能力实操体系整体的设计思路,即在专业指导委员会的指导下,建立实操课程体系"金字塔"、驱动职业技能集成的"轴心项目"、职业能力可视化的"实践发布平台"以及学生作品与社会服务相连通的"通道";由于结构严谨,流程环节严密,指导监控严格,经过完整的新闻宣传人才职业能力实操体系训练后,学生的实操动手能力有了明显提升,实践作品的质量稳步提高。  相似文献   

科技期刊编辑职业焦虑分析及应对

【目的】为了提高科技期刊编辑的工作积极性及效率,提出化解科技期刊编辑职业焦虑的对策。【方法】从科技期刊编辑工作的特点入手,运用系统分析法,通过对科技期刊编辑工作的主要流程进行分析,寻找可能产生编辑职业焦虑的原因。【结果】科技期刊编辑职业焦虑源自两方面:一是编辑日常工作焦虑;二是期刊竞争引起的焦虑。从心理学视角和人力资源视角分别提出了具体的应对措施:编辑要重视内功修炼和进行自我调节,以减轻自身的职业焦虑;管理组织部门要加强人力资源管理,消解编辑职业焦虑。【结论】可以从内在和外在两方面降低科技期刊编辑的职业焦虑。  相似文献   

Higher education teachers’ professional learning: Process and outcome

In this paper, we first offer an analytic perspective on the papers in this volume, framing our discussion within the context of academic development as a discipline and highlighting common lines that cut across the nine contributions. We then offer insights about the current state of research on the evaluation of academic development and suggest directions that are likely to advance our theoretical and empirical knowledge in this area and anchor us firmly in evidence-based practice. We suggest that clarifying the mechanisms of change when professional learning occurs and measuring the changes in student learning outcomes that are associated with professional learning are important avenues for future research.  相似文献   

Teacher coaching in Kenya: Examining instructional support in public and nonformal schools

Instructional coaching has improved student outcomes in the United States, and may help to solve Kenya's literacy problems. Coaching is costly, however, and evidence is lacking regarding the most cost-efficient teacher-to-coach ratio. We used student literacy outcome data from more than 8000 students participating in the Kenya Primary Math and Reading Initiative—a randomized controlled trial of instructional interventions in public and nonformal schools—to fill this gap. Coaches in larger public zones made fewer visits per teacher, and teacher-coach ratio and student performance were negatively associated. Using causal methods, we concluded that lower ratios might improve nonformal school outcomes.  相似文献

This mixed methods study examined how millennial generation preservice teachers’ intrinsic motivation affects their professional learning in ITE and professional competence. The quantitative findings showed Interest in teaching and subject taught and Self-development and ideal lifestyle as the two aspects of millennial preservice teachers’ intrinsic motivation, and confirmed a significant, positive, mediated effect from preservice teachers’ intrinsic motivation on their perceived professional competence: Subject matter, pedagogical and educational knowledge, via their professional learning in ITE coursework and interaction with others. The qualitative findings showed four underpinning linkages with illustrations from six preservice teacher cases. Implications for ITE are discussed.  相似文献   

Exploring data use practices around Europe: Identifying enablers and barriers

In this article we explore what data-based decision making use looks like in schools in five different countries (United Kingdom, Germany, Poland, Lithuania and the Netherlands). We explore for what purposes data are used in these countries and what the enablers and barriers to data use are. The case study results show that schools in all five countries use data for school development, accountability, and instructional improvement. Also, the schools in the five countries struggle with the same type of problems: e.g. lack of access to high quality data, lack of professional development in using data, and a lack of collaboration around the use of data. Finally, we discuss how some enablers can turn into barriers for effective data use.  相似文献
